Medical Treatment
Your doctor, who is responsible for your medical treatment while you are at the hospital as a patient, is a member of our carefully chosen and highly qualified medical staff. He/she will prescribe the tests, medication, treatment and diet that you will receive throughout your hospitalization.
Nursing
The nursing personnel of the hospital strive to provide you with quality nursing care. This care is planned and supervised by a staff of professional Registered Nurses. The Licensed Practical Nurses and Aids work under the direction of the Registered Nurses.
There are many more behind the scenes in such services as laundry, housekeeping, maintenance and purchasing who serve indirectly to provide you with comfortable surroundings throughout your hospitalization.
Social Services
Any patient or family may talk to our on-staff social worker. Working with your physician and the nursing staff, the medical social worker can help you or your family make arrangements for a transfer to an extended care facility, provide assistance in home care needs, explain programs which give financial aid, counseling for personal problems, and in the event of prolonged illness, they will discuss with the patient or family members services available to them. |
