Staff: 1 Registered Nurse, member MSIC, APIC

This department provides surveillance for infections and communicable diseases. They are also responsible for employee health including:

• Immunizations
• TB screening
• Illness and injuries
• Clinic Education
• BLS classes
• New employee orientations
• In-services on clinical subjects

Another responsibility is Emergency Preparedness. They are a member of Region 3 Advisory Board on Bio-terror, Region 3 Planning Board, Sanilac County Bio-terror Task Force, and Planning for Emergency Response to incidents with mass casualties.
