A variety of health education programs for patients and the community are offered by McKenzie Memorial Hospital. Many classes are offered throughout the community, as well as in the hospital to promote information on your health and continued wellness. Programs include:
Aqua Aerobics
Classes are held in six or eight week sessions and each
class is one hour in length. The pool is located
at the McKenzie Health & Wellness Center, 170 Argyle

American Health Association CPR, Adult
Classes are held quarterly in the
hospital. The classes start at 6:00 p.m. and cost $35.00

Classes are held quarterly in the hospital. The classes

Classes are held quarterly in the hospital. The classes start at 6:00 p.m.

American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Combo Class
Adult, Infant/Peds, and First Aid are offered quarterly
at the hospital. The class starts at 6:00 p.m. and costs

Pre-Natal Classes
Classes are offered in a five week series at a cost
of $35.00 per couple. For more information

Senior Services
McKenzie Senior Services
is free to senior citizens due to funding by the Sanilac
Council on Aging. A variety of
geriatric nurse services are available including in-home
assessments, flu and pneumonia immunizations for the homebound,
health related counseling, and classes to interested groups

Smoking Cessation
Single session quit smoking programs may be scheduled for your group. Contact Louise at (810)648-6181.
Workforce Wellness Program
A wellness program for the workplace. On-site screenings-cholesterol,
PSA (prostate Specific Antigen), blood pressure, Body Mass
Index (BMI), Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), tuberculosis,
flu shots, etc. Workshops on stress management, carpal
tunnel and back safety can also be incorporated into the program. Programs
designed for the needs of individual workplaces. Contact Sharon
